The play is a theatrical adaptation of a major Oscar-winning cinema hit. The story of the characters in this tale shows how different relationships can affect us, how we sometimes lie because we don’t know any better, or are too honest – to the point of pain – seeking attention or provoking conflict. Terms of Endearment soothes the difficult relationship between a mother and her daughter, in which toxicity is intertwined with love and the need for closeness. The story is told in a moving yet unsentimental way; sometimes reflective, sometimes comical. It is the perfect material for magnificent acting performances, which our cast is sure to deliver.
Performance Terms of Endearment is presented under a special agreement with Broadway Licensing, 440 Park Av. South, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10016, www.brodwaylicensing.com.
